You will be visiting He'eia State Park located at 46-465 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744 for your event day.
The fun starts on Sunday July 14, 2024 from 9am to 3pm. Check-in starts at 8:30am and finishes at 12pm. For those who are booked for kayaking at 8:30am, your check-in will start at 8am.
Being prepared will make your event day go smoothly. In addition to the planned activities and entertainment, you can enjoy the park to it's fullest:
All employee's must check-in, in order to receive their lunch wristbands , kayak wristbands (if applicable), aqua case (if applicable), picnic blanket, and more. Check-In area also serves as an information booth for any questions attendees may have up until 12pm.
Parking at the He‘eia State Park is limited and on a first come first served basis. Certain areas of the parking lot will be coned off for those working the event, requiring a parking pass. Additional parking is available down the street at King Intermediate School with trolley service.
Food trucks are open from 11am to 2pm and will only accept the stubs distributed at check-in. At least two water bottle stations will be set-up and is free to all attendees. Located in parking lot F to H on map.
From Makahiki Games, Life Sized Connect 4, Yard Jenga and more interactive engagements are located on the grounds (I and O on map). These do not require a reservation and can be enjoyed by all.
Face painting, balloon making, carnival games and more located in the main building (the Hall). These can be enjoyed by all, including keiki.
Performers include Keiki Hula, Live music by Kawelo, and Magic Hypnosis Comedy. Entertainment located in the main building (the Hall).
What is an event without music? DJ will be playing in the main building (the Hall) from 9am to 3pm.
Two Slip-n-Slides (adult and keiki) and a 4n1 EZ Monsoon Madness Combo for keiki to enjoy.
Kick back and relax in the Hall where tables and chairs will be set-up for you for the entire event. You can enjoy the moment, eat, be entertained by the Stage performers or just relax.
Between 11am to 2pm gather your friends and family for a booth photo extravaganza located in the Hall. The ever-popular Party Cube is a supersized inflatable booth that produces colorful photos with an explosive LED light show. Standard interior backdrop is white.
With a variety of props to showcase your style, capture a memorable keepsake of your experience.
Seriously - what's summer without a water slide inflatable? Guaranteed to keep you cool and active while watching the kayakers. Streaming with water, slide your watery way to the bottom, rinse, repeat.
Located at the waterfront (B ands C on map).
Each session starts with a safety debrief and tutorial.
A life jacket, paddle, and map of Kaneohe Bay will be provided.
Participants will be given 3 different patch reefs to paddle to and (optionally) snorkel. They can also kayak to other areas of the bay that can be done within the 2-hour timeframe.
Kayakers can enjoy the bay using their own, “people power”. A safety boat will be present to aid, when necessary.
